Why do you permit this behavior, Delta?

I love the way those engines sound while taxiing and taking off. I prefer my CRJs long though :P

Once you go TF39, you never go back.

I love the CRJ, especially the 700/900 because I can actually stand up in the aisles. I’d rather sit on one of those overnight than just about any other coach class plane. It’s like a barely hidden secret that they’re derived from business jets. I ain’t even care they make me put my carryon in the overhead.

There is something about that vertical stabilizer that just makes me fall in love.

I got to sit a row in front of the left engine’s nacelle on the flight I took to SLC in a 900. It’s awesome watching the engine furiously spinning away doing its job. The plane wasn’t that uncomfortable either! My parents would disagree though. lol

Why didn’t this happen?

the plan was to update and replace the engines in the late 70's, increase performance, and range. But the improvement cost too much and the B1 a b2 would make the b-52 obsolete.
well we know how that turned out.
